Aion Gathering database

gathering_map_preview

After several weeks spent on compiling all the resources and coding the whole damn thing (should have taken three days, but life got in the way) Aion Life’s gathering database is finally ready for you guys to use. Everybody needs to take a break from leveling and PvP from time to time and creating stuff for your toon, or to make money from, is a perfect pass time in-game. Starting point for all professions is gathering of necessary materials. Aion lets you gather everything for all professions and professional gatherers can make considerable amounts of money by selling materials to crafters.

To make your life easier, whether a professional gatherer or crafter looking for that one last ingredient, we have compiled a list of all the gatherable resources in Aion together with maps and exact locations of where you can find them. We hope this helps you considerably in your crafting endeavors.

Dyes and Petals in Aion

As you already guess you can change the color of your armor. If you ask why should I do this? The answer is – only for show. You can dye every piece of your armor and you will need one dye per item but there are some restrictions. You can not dye Accessories, Draconic, Abyss and Unique Items. Dye and petals are items that are used to change the color of the armor.

How to dye your armor?

To change the color of an item just right click the dye or petal. Your cursor will change into a little dropper and your next step is to click on the item you wish to dye. When you click on the item a small window will appear asking for confirmation. If you press “yes” button the action can not be undone. But don’t worry, if you don’t like new color you can remove it. In this case you need Dye Remover.

Where to buy dyes

Dyes can be obtained from NPC’s:
Jooma (Sanctum) for Elyos
Kinot (Pandaemonium) for Asmodians

Jooma Jooma Location Kinot Location Dye Pallet

There are four Regular dyes: Blue, Brown, Purple, Turquoise. Dyes can also be quest rewards or event rewards.

Blue Dye Brown Dye Purple Dye Turquoise Dye

Petals

Another way to change your armor’s color is by using petals. Petals can be harvested from plants and the chance to obtain them is about 3-4%. Some petals make the armor brighter, some darker. The more petal you use the more shady the armor becomes. If you harvest a Petal from certain plants just right-click it and click on the item you would like to dye.

Elyos Regions

* Wiki Petal (110 extract vitality) – Lime Green
* Omblic Petal (165 extract vitality) – Crimson Red
* Meon Petal (220 extract vitality) – Yellow-Green
* Ormea Petal (260 extract vitality) – Orange
* Tange Petal (325 extract vitality) – Blue-Violet
* Ervio Petal (355 extract vitality) – Sea Blue
* Lunime Petal(385 extract vitality) – Gold

* Pressa Petal (275 extract vitality) – Orange
* Merone Petal (325 extract vitality) – Turquoise
* Kukar Petal (355 extract vitality) – Light Yellow

Note

If you dye your armor, then decide you want to use the skin of that armor on a new piece of armor the skin will transfer but the dye will not.

Aion Veteran Rewards Program

The Aion Veteran Rewards program rewards steadfast Aion gamers for their time spent playing Aion. For each month you have an active account, you are eligible to redeem in-game items, such as weapons, armor, titles, and emotes. Each program reward can be redeemed once for every character within each respective Aion game account.

Aion reserves the right to expand, revise, or end the Veteran Rewards program at their sole discretion.

Eligibility

You are eligible for Veteran Rewards if you have an active game account.

If you have an active account, the only thing you need to do is to redeem your items each month via your Aion game account in your NCsoft Master Account. After each one-month milestone, new rewards become available and will be delivered via in-game express mail once redeemed.

Free time included in purchasing Aion counts toward your Veteran Rewards status, as does any time received from specified promotional programs that involve a player receiving free time. Your Aion game account page displays your Veteran Rewards time. It indicates which Veteran Rewards month you are eligible for.

Availability

Veteran Rewards will become available on the first day of each subscription month starting with the second month.

The in-game items you accrue in the Veteran Rewards program are redeemed via your Aion game account in your NCsoft Master Account, and then delivered to your characters via in-game express mail. The redemption process is very similar to the way that you redeemed Collector’s Edition items (if you purchased either the Collector’s Edition box or digital-only version of the game).

Note: The first month’s Veteran Rewards won’t be available until November 4, 2009.
