NCsoft has announced that nearly one million copies of Aion: The Tower of Eternity have been sold in North America and Europe. More than 500,000 copies of Aion have been sold in North America and around 470,000 in Europe.

Statistically speaking, Aion’s popularity provides very high position for this MMO with 52% of total NCsoft’s sales for last quarter.

Both EU and NA servers are going down for maintenance in about 2 hours (11am GMT / 3:30 a.m. PST). The maintenance is estimated to take no longer than 3 hours. I wonder if they’ll implement the new patch today? BTW, did you notice that EU maintenance starts at 11.11. at 11am GMT? Symbolic times freak me out.
