With the latest patch notes 1.5.1.7 the main Auction House search frustration has disappeared – searching items in the Auction House is no longer case sensitive! Before heading to the Trade Broker here are some tips you should be aware of:

• Shugo trade brokers can be found in every major town.
• You can access auction items by clicking on the Auction Broker or by pressing C on your keyboard. There are three main tabs on the broker window: Buy, Sell and Sold Items.
• Whether you are buying or selling items, the first thing you should do is check prices at any general merchant, because you don’t want to sell bellow merchant prices.
• Search result items can be sorted by name, level, price or by unit price (when you are selling a stack of items).
• The search function will only search your currently selected category and sub-categories. It will apply this filter until you reset it.
• If you want to check the price of an item you already have in your inventory, you don’t have to type the full item name. Open the Auction window- Buy tab, then simply Right Click the item in your inventory and the complete item name will show up in the search bar.
• If you want to split your item stack hold down Shift button + Right Click on the stack you want to split and then specify an amount you want to sell.

At level 20, when you finish the quest A Sliver of Darkness (Elyos) or No Escaping Destiny (Asmo) you will be able to equip your first Stigma Stones. As a reward you will get your first Stigma Stone for free and 300 Stigma Shards. Two Stigma slots will be available and after that you will unlock new stigma slot every 10 levels.

After patch 1.5 there are 8 stigma slots available. Five regular ones and three advanced. In order to unlock the advanced stigma slots there are certain quest-chains that need to be completed first. Advanced Stigma stones can be equipped if prerequisite stigma stones are already equipped. Regular stigma stones can be equipped in advanced stone slots, but advance stigma stones cannot be equipped in regular slots.

• The first one ([Group] Secret of the Shattered Stigma) requires you to go into SR Middle. The quest description is a bit mis-leading. It tells you that you need to kill the Engineer (which would be the boss for SR Lower) and get something out of his safe. However, that safe is located in SR Mid, the same room you get the book from (it’s actually the Obelisk/Kisk in the corner).
• The second advanced Stigma quest ([Group] How to Use Stigma) again sends you back to Steel Rake. This time, you have to gather three Surkana’s, which will drop from the bosses. So prepare for at least two runs into SR Lower / Upper, since you need to get the drops from the Engineer and the Captain.
• The third advanced Stigma slot finally sends you into Dark Poeta ([Group] Stop the Shulacks!). You have to collect 100 Processed Drana, which is a group-drop from mobs in there (about 10-12 per run) as well as a manual from a Shugo Professor, which is located inside the mines shortly before you fight the Telepathy Controller boss.
