Cities XL: Solo and Online

The lucky beta Cities XL testers are being selected, and they will receive an email within the next 48 hours. As mentioned before, users of the promo codes got higher chances of being selected.

Lotro Fellowship Maneuver Stun

In order to address consistency concerns with Lotro combat states, Turbine has created a new combat state called Fellowship Maneuver Stun. This combat state will appear as a stunned state with its own unique icon. This was done in order to both reduce confusion about various combat states and the immunities that go with them.

The Isle of Conquest battleground

New battleground coming to World of Warcraft with new Patch 3.2. – Call of the Crusade is placed on an island somewhere off the shores of Northrend.

Isle of Conquest, a new battleground scheduled to make its debut in the upcoming content patch, Call of the Crusade, will pitch teams of up to 40 players against each other in a massive battle over this small island off Northrend’s northern coast. To win, your team will need to make use of the island’s unique strategic locations including an oil derrick, a siege workshop, and a fully equipped airship hangar. You will deploy devastating siege weaponry on the field; Light have mercy on anyone caught between you and your ultimate target, the general holed up in the enemy keep.

There are five points of interest on the Isle of Conquest for the factions to battle over. Each one offers its own benefits and strategic value. Which one will you claim for your side, and will it be enough to ensure victory?

Durin’s Folk long ago came to the great caverns which are now known as Moria, the Black Pit. They delved and built the great realm of Khazad-dûm. Many great and wondrous things were made in Moria, and mithril was discovered there, but a day came when the dwarves delved too deeply and too greedily and awoke the Balrog, Durin’s Bane.

But even long before the Balrog had come to hide in the depths of Moria, the deepest holes and caverns were inhabited by countless evil things. Known now as the Nameless, they have arisen and seek to enslave all who walk the halls of Khazad-dûm. A vile and grotesque creature known as the Mistress of Pestilence commands the Nameless of Moria, who strive to spread her fungal plague to the outside world.

Dark Brotherhood – the level 60, twelve-player, radiance-gated Raid which takes place in Dâr Narbugud – features six raid bosses and a second tier of radiance raid armour.

Instance and Raid Changes Coming in Book 8

The next free Lotro content update Volume II: Book 8: Scourge of Khazad-dum will bring us the most challenging and most fun instances with a bunch of options in obtaining more interesting items!

  • New instances and raids:
    • The Mirror Halls of Lumul-nar – a three-man instance located in Zirak-zigil (contains a hard mode)
    • The Water Wheels: Nala-Dum – another three-man level 60 instance located in the Flooded Deeps (contains a hard mode)
    • Halls of Crafting – a six-man instance located next to the entrances of the Forges of Khazad-Dum and Fil Ghashan (contains a hard mode)
    • Dar Narbugud – a twelve-person raid that contains 6 bosses with First Age Legendary Item token drops and the new Tier 2 class set
    • A ton of new quests for the instances and raids – opportunities to gain Galadhrim reputation, Rare Drops, and Legendary Item XP.
