Is your WoW wife a dude? – ask Brad Pitt

Isn’t that a title you thought will never come about? Yet, that is exactly the type of questions Wired features in its latest article entitled: “The New Rules for Highly Evolved Humans, With Very Bad Advice From Brad Pitt”. Ever wondered “Can I Talk on the Phone While Taking a Whiz?”, or “Is It OK to Look at Porn at Work?” – find your answers here.

You might wonder why we are reporting about it. They do talk about WoW and Rock band so it’s ok for a gaming site to report on it. Besides, while reading the article I came across this image and I just had to do some editing on it. The wife will kill me tho – she adores Brad and can’t stand me listening to Metallica all the time. To smear her wet dream with James’ ugly mug will be a reason to chase me around the house with a hatchet. Meh, it was worth it (grins insanely).

P.S. My favorite Q&A:

I want to post a picture of my wife’s butt on twitter á la Ashton Kutcher. Do I need to ask her first, or can I snap, post, and hope she’ll be flattered?
Don’t take a picture of your wife’s butt. That’s silly. Take pictures of other people’s wives’ butts.

Ah Brad, let me be so bold to say that we wouldn’t mind a pic of your wife’s butt … lucky basterd … 😛

No SW:TOR news this week (and half dressed Sith)

Darth Krayt

A week went by and no news was released by Bioware (except a minor update to the official forums with new avatars – read more here). Being the only source of really new stuff concerning the game and spoiling us by regular updates in the past weeks, Bioware outraged me with their silence, so I went browsing for other things to write about and ended up reading any other SW:TOR related happenings I could find. Enter fan sites *drumroll*. For a game not even in beta there is an amazing number of web sites, blogs, podcasts and similar shenanigans trying to attract the community’s attention. And the community is blossoming. The official forums have loads of threads and are more active than some live and long running MMORPGs out there (LotRO EU for example).

TOROcast episode 3

Guys at http://theoldrepublic-online.com/ released the 3rd installment of their weekly SW:TOR podcast. The dynamic duo, Musco and SammMoney, get into a few debates having to do with last week’s race discussion, open world, or linear gaming, they cover the announcement of Ord Mantell, and sound very excited about Threat of Peace Issue 4. You can listen to their podcasts at their site or subscribe to their feed here. We’ll also continue to follow their podcast and let you know when new ones become available, the guys are just that interesting (oh yeah and they still play Warcraft 3, which is a big plus in my book ).

April Fools’ Day 09

Second Life: Some of the most common gags that are going around this year

  1. Linden Lab sells Second Life, to any of the aforementioned candidates
  2. All free accounts that do not upgrade to premium will be canceled.
  3. Former US president George W Bush has been appointed the new CFO of Linden Lab.
  4. All scripted dance objects will force you to do the macarena.
  5. Linden Lab and Blizzard are collaborating on Second Life of Warcraft (AKA SLoW).

Guild Wars

When you log in today, you may notice your character looking a bit shorter and much cuter. As part of the April Fools’ celebrations, all characters appear as an anime-styled Gwen while in towns and outposts. Gwen, of course, has become the unlikely icon of the game, gaining almost a cult status.

WoW EU Under Development: P1mp My Mount!

Coming in a future content patch, we plan to bring you a new feature that will allow you to alter the color, the armor, or add decorations to your in-game mounts. Simply drop in to Zazzber’s Local Fix-‘Er-Up, pay a small fee, and leave your mount there overnight. The next morning, you’ll pick up a mount that is uniquely yours!
