The Timeline feature revealed

librarian
Star Wars: ToR official site released a very cool new feature called the Timeline describing events that led to the state of events we’ll encounter in the game. It covers events starting 32800 years in the past (force “discovered” on Tython), leading through emergence of Sith and the first Jedi vs Sith wars up to the events of Knights of the Old Republic and Raven’s adventures (very sweet for anyone that played KotOR). The first “video document” entry is about the Treaty of Coruscant, that seminal event that lays out the background for the game’s settings. The event so powerful that even the timeline is divided into BTC (Before the Treaty of Coruscant) and ATC (After the Treaty of Coruscant). To see the cool feature in action clickz0r herez0r!

April Fools’ Day 09

Second Life: Some of the most common gags that are going around this year

  1. Linden Lab sells Second Life, to any of the aforementioned candidates
  2. All free accounts that do not upgrade to premium will be canceled.
  3. Former US president George W Bush has been appointed the new CFO of Linden Lab.
  4. All scripted dance objects will force you to do the macarena.
  5. Linden Lab and Blizzard are collaborating on Second Life of Warcraft (AKA SLoW).

Guild Wars

When you log in today, you may notice your character looking a bit shorter and much cuter. As part of the April Fools’ celebrations, all characters appear as an anime-styled Gwen while in towns and outposts. Gwen, of course, has become the unlikely icon of the game, gaining almost a cult status.

WoW EU Under Development: P1mp My Mount!

Coming in a future content patch, we plan to bring you a new feature that will allow you to alter the color, the armor, or add decorations to your in-game mounts. Simply drop in to Zazzber’s Local Fix-‘Er-Up, pay a small fee, and leave your mount there overnight. The next morning, you’ll pick up a mount that is uniquely yours!

Lotro Chicken Play April Fools

This year Lotro April Fools starts with a letter in the mail, asking you to talk to a town crier. Talk to any crier to enter the session play and get the quest Chicken Run which tells you to arrive outside of Glan Vraig without being defeated. The only problem is that the starting spot has become a battle camping spot for freeps and creeps – fighting over the chickens. As a final reward new title is waiting for you – Fool!

The best part of the April Fools for all EU players is that April Fools won’t be on the 1 April:

The Chicken April fools event comes with Book 7. We will run this event on a date after Book 7 is live on EU servers.
